Specimen # 3: Paxton Hernandez

Paxton Hernandez is the web's White Ayala, plain and simple. In my opinion one of the best writers who write about film in all of Mexico, ironic and visceral. In Paxton http://paxtonmovies.blogspot.com/ rants when it comes to the sacred cows of contemporary Mexican cinema. Eimbcke, Escalante, the first two works of Reygadas, Pla and Rulfo, to name a few, have been devastated with their writing agile, dynamic and stylistically excelsa. Paxton, as Ayala Blanco, did not find the jewels of contemporary Mexican cinema in film comedies festivalero but guapachoso, the incipient and sporadic genre films, documentaries and student urban stories full of violence and worldly love.
